What if your creativity could change lives? A short film festival telling stories of loss + redemption for Donate Week 2014. http://www.filmlifeproject.org
The FilmLife Project is an exciting arts/health collaboration and short film festival teaching new and budding storytellers the art of filmmaking.
Our free filmmaking workshops empowers them to submit a three minute film for FilmLife, one that addresses organ and tissue donation, specifically on the 2014 Donate Life Week theme: ‘Have the chat'.
Filmmakers gain national exposure for their work, access to experienced filmmakers and people affected directly by organ donation and transplantation, great prizes, and the opportunity for their creativity to change lives.
ABOUT THE WORKSHOPS:
Those storytellers and filmmakers aged 16-28 who register their interest for FilmLife can attend workshops in Sydney and Melbourne. Information + Cultural Exchange (ICE) in Western Sydney and Footscray Community Arts Centre in Melbourne.
Workshops will take place during DonateLife Week 2014 to talk with people who have been impacted by organ or tissue donation, as well as learn essential filmmaking skills taught by experts.
Learn the ropes if you've never made a film as well as find out about the impact of organ donation from people who have experienced it first-hand. If you want to reserve a place at the workshop:
